Flint K. DeShazo, MD

Dr. Flint DeShazo earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lubbock Christian College and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He also completed a residency in Family Practice at the Oklahoma University Tulsa Medical College. During this time, he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. DeShazo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. A native Texan, Dr. DeShazo was born and raised in the Panhandle. He and his wife, Annette, live in Round Rock. They have three children, Kristen, Katherine and Harrison.
Christopher G. Putney, MD

Dr. Christopher Putney earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso and a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also completed a residency in Family Practice at Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
Dr. Putney is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Texas Medical Association. A native Texan, Dr. Putney joined Family Medicine Associates in 1998. He and his wife, Allison, live in Williamson County with their three children, Sadie, Audrey, and Joseph.
James A. Boyd, MD

Dr. James Boyd graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Oakwood Hospital Family Practice Residency in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dr. Boyd is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Academy of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. He is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Michigan. A native Texan, Dr. Boyd returned to Texas in 1992 working with Round Rock Hospital. He and his wife, Cathy, live in Round Rock.
Steven Daniel, DO

Dr. Steven Daniel graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton and received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his Family Medicine residency in Jersey City, serving as Chief Resident for two of his years there.
Dr Daniel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association. A native to New York, Dr. Daniel now makes his home in the Northwest Hills of Austin.
Mitchell Wong, MD

Dr. Mitchell Wong graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. He received his medical degree from UT Health School of Medicine at San Antonio. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
Dr. Wong is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Texas Medical Association. A native Texan, Dr. Wong enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, and playing strategy board games.
Nichole Smith, PA-C

Nichole Smith, PA-C graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo where she was on the Dean’s List and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then earned a Bachelor of Science – Physician Assistant degree through the State University of New York at Stony Book where she was on the Dean’s list.
She is Physician Assistant National Board Certified and has her Texas State Physician Assistant Medical License. Nichole and her husband make their home in Georgetown, Texas where they have adopted several dogs. She is also an avid runner and has participated in several marathons, including the Boston Marathon.

Dr. Elbert David graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown and received a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed his Family Practice residency at the Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco, which is an affiliate of Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. David is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association and the Williamson County Medical Society. Dr. David has served as Chief of Staff at Round Rock Hospital and is Past President of the Round Rock Rotary Club. A native Texan, Dr. David speaks both English and Spanish fluently. He and his wife, Carla, live in Round Rock. They have two children, Faye and Andy.
Dr. Elbert is now retired as of July 31st,2020.
